GETTING TO KNOW KYNO
Kyno better known as “KynoGotThatWork”, born Kyon Curtis is a Music Producer, Beat Maker, Song Writer, and Visual Arts Designer from Gary, Indiana. He grew up singing in the choir at Prayer House of Faith Church, located on the east side of Gary, Indiana. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Undergraduate) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Graduate). Kyno became a music producer because he has been around music his entire life. Music is the one thing that he loves more than sports, so he gave up playing basketball and coaching basketball to pursue his music production career. The studio has become Kyno’s sanctuary, his place of happiness, his place of piece. Kyno enjoys working with artists and helping them express themselves artistically. He believes that artists have so much to offer the world and their voices should be heard. Sometimes they need that extra support.
MUSIC EDUCATION
Kyno attended Audio Production School at Milwaukee Area Technical College, learning from the likes of Matthew Smith (Full Sail University Graduate and 10+ years of experience in the industry).
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Kyno has worked with the likes of Rell Rhodes (produced and wrote for/with Jagged Edge and Bryan-Michael Cox) and Blair The Machine (produced and wrote for multiple artists in the St. Louis area). Kyno produced and co-wrote the single “I.G.A.F” (I Got A Feeling) by Ron Parks. Kyno also produced multiple songs for the play “HYPE” (Atlanta, Georgia).
FUTURE ASPIRATIONS
KynoGotThatWork looks forward to working with many different artists of different genres and providing fire beats, production, and lyrics to all he works with. He also looks forward to being nominated and winning a grammy this year.
